The project is financed by Islamic Development Bank and the duration of the project is 18 months. The works include the upgrading of a 40km existing earth road with realignment and also comprise the construction of structures including a 40m reinforced concrete bridge and asphalt pavement of a 7.4m wide carraigaway in rural areas and 9m in urban areas, including surface dressing shoulders.
